Growers of summer flowers increasingly opt for fully automatic sorting and bunching. In this way, a number of summer flower growers have recently made excellent progress with improving speed and uniformity in processing their flowers. Above all, operating a Furora ensures peace of mind and better control of the business. Several additional functions have been developed for processing summer flowers; sorting based on stem length can be used for flowers such as astilbes and stocks, while summer flowers with thicker stems can now also be processed automatically, such as brassica and helianthus stems.
Most summer flowers farms produce many different types of flowers. For them, ease of changing or alternating flower type is therefore crucial, and the Furora can enable this thanks to the software and control features which are available. Much attention has also been paid to the de-leafing of summer flowers, and development of this work will be continued. A Furora for the processing of summer flowers can be equipped with a bunching station or a bunching/binding station and can process at least 30 different kinds of summer flowers.
