A remarkable growth in the number of flower growers participating since last year’s IFTEX can be noted at this year’s edition of one of the world’s most important flower trade exhibitions. And not only more growers from Kenya are signing up in, but flower producers from other African nations as well.
With the increase of growers wanting to be part of IFTEX, the organizers created extra exhibit space in a new Hall at the lower floors of the Oshwal Center and this resulting in 50 more stand spaces for mainly flower growers. With this extension IFTEX 2015 will be the biggest edition since its launch in 2012. It is the wish of the organizer that IFTEX can grow towards a platform where African growers can meet with buyers from all over the world. With 2015’s edition achieving a new milestone, “the show is on track”, according to spokesman of the expo, Dick van Raamsdonk.
