UK: Furora processes tulips and stocks at J.A. Collison & Sons

Furora grading and bunching machines process many different types of flowers. This week J.A. Collison & Sons in Great Britain started processing stocks. Because the tulip season is also still running, the next two weeks both tulips and stocks will be be processed daily on the same Furora. Changing of flower variety is easy and quick.

Grading stocks
Weekly about 5 - 6 different colors of stocks are being graded and bunched. After laying the flowers on the belt, stems are cutted and de-deleafed at the desired length. Then various camera techniques measure stem length and flower size. Result of these grading criteria are uniform bunches.
