Ammeraal Beltech, a leading worldwide manufacturer of process and conveyor belting with its international headquarters in Alkmaar, The Netherlands, is proud to announce its intended acquisition by Advent International, one of the largest and most experienced global private equity investors.
Ammeraal Beltech has been obtained from Gilde Buy Out Partners and Parcom Capital Management. The relevant works councils of Ammeraal Beltech and other employee representative bodies have been informed and will be consulted prior to formal agreement. Completion of the transaction is subject only to merger clearance and other customary conditions.
An industry leader in both R&D and in its service platform, Ammeraal Beltech designs, manufactures, distributes and maintains high-quality process and conveyor belts for a diverse range of applications covering nearly every major industry, including food processing, airports and baggage handling, logistics, automotive manufacturing, textile production and more.
With this transaction, Ammeraal Beltech is looking to continue to build on the success it has achieved over the past 65 years as the industry’s leading one-stop belt shop, with the largest range of belting products available worldwide. Michael Vogel, CEO Ammeraal Beltech, explains: “Advent’s experience and knowledge of the industrial sector, coupled with their international footprint and hands-on approach to value creation, will be of great benefit to the Company in helping us to reach our full potential.”
For Ammeraal Beltech’s customers, stability is ensured, as well as the continuing high level of service and expertise they have come to expect.
