Germany: Gregor Ziegler invests wood fiber production

Gregor Ziegler GmbH expanded its wood fiber production. Now, up to 50,000 m3 wood fiber can be produced per month. The company had to invest around EUR 1 million in the second production facility.

The structure of the wood fiber "Timpor" they produce is as almost the same as peat. And with only a weight of about 50 kilograms per cubic meter this raw material is lightweight.

Due to the thermomechanical process the fiber is germ-free with a very homogeneous and uniform structure. The wood fiber certified as organic product. "Timpor ' is awarded with the RAL Quality Label and is made of 100 percent raw material wood and thus from renewable raw materials. Therefore, the supply is secured for the long term", says Ziegler.
