Growers and garden retailers are invited to attend a free HTA/Ball Colegrave workshop event, taking place during the Ball Colegrave 2015 Summer Showcase, looking at the future of plant retailing. The event takes place on Tuesday 14 July from 10.30am – 3pm at Ball Colegrave Ltd, Milton Road, West Adderbury, Oxfordshire, OX17 3EY.
Plants remain at the core of garden retail businesses and provide a real point of difference from the competition. Is the industry however maximising the opportunity presented by the variety of plants on offer? Are there ways in which more sales can be driven?
This event will include a series of seminars covering the latest findings from eye tracker research showing how customers shop the plant area, plus top tips and examples to help grow plant sales and importantly profit from them.
Speakers include:
· Andy Bunker, Alton Garden Centre
· HTA Market Information Manager, David Denny
· Boyd Douglas-Davies, Hill View Group
· Stuart Lowen, Ball Colegrave
· Sandy Shepherd, Ball Colegrave
· Kevin Waters, Kevin Waters Consultancy
Registration from 10.30 for an 11.00am start. Lunch will be provided. The event will run until 3pm after which there will be the opportunity to visit the Ball Colegrave Summer Showcase 2015, which features new plant varieties and innovative retail ideas.
