Pleasant View Gardens and D.S.Cole Growers announced the date of their Open House Events as July 30, 2015. Geared towards greenhouse and nursery growers, retailers, landscapers, and brokers, the Open House Events are free to attend, though registration is required. Participants will experience a wide assortment of plant genetics as Pleasant View and D.S Cole open up their greenhouses and gardens to industry professionals for the day.
“This is a great opportunity for folks to see what’s new for the 2016 season,” raved Doug Cole, owner of D.S. Cole Growers. “It’s particularly convenient for those in New England and Northeast United States who couldn’t attend the California Spring Trials this year. Between Pleasant View and D.S. Cole, you’ll see the worlds’ best plant breeding displayed at a convenient local setting. ”
The Open House Events will be held at both D.S. Cole and Pleasant View in Loudon, New Hampshire from 9:00 am to 3:00pm. Attendees are encouraged to visit both locations as the greenhouse companies are only a short drive from one another. Lunch and refreshments will be served at both facilities. Admission is free, but registration is required.
“We are excited to invite industry professionals to spend the day in Loudon. It’s great to have the chance to socialize and network while surrounded by the beautiful plants on display,” mused Andy Huntington, National Sales Manager of Pleasant View. “Past attendees have enjoyed learning as much from each other, as well as, getting their technical questions answered by our staff experts”.
Loudon, New Hampshire is approximately 35 minutes from the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Manchester, NH and 1 hour 20 minutes from the Boston Logan International Airport in Boston, MA. Located in the south-central area of New Hampshire, Loudon and the nearby surrounding areas provide many recreational activities in July.
“We’re in a fantastic spot for vacations,” said Chris Schlegel, Head Grower at D.S. Cole. “The seacoast is less than an hour away, and there are beautiful mountains and lakes close by. Attendees should really consider taking some extra time after the Open House Events to explore the great things New Hampshire has to offer”.
