The diversity of orchid varieties makes the presentation of Hassinger Orchideen special at the FlowerTrials. Especially the innovations catch the eye. "Over 25 years of work is presented here at Moerheim New Plant BV in Leimuiderbrug, the Aalsmeer region."
Remarkable new varieties, like Bellavallia, Dendrochilum, Gomesa, Maxillaria, Miltoniopsis and Promenaea are on display. Some of them smell like honey or cocoa and others have impressive colors and/or flowers. "This selection is sorely needed for a yet highly pressurized orchid market. Is it is time to set the course and to take profitable varieties into the production program in the future, advises Jasmin Hassinger from customer service, who is the third generation of the family business. She and her sister Iris Hassinger now strengthen the team Hassinger and bring important know-how to the operation.
The FlowerTrials will last until 17.00 on Friday evening and another 48 breeding houses in the regions Aalsmeer, Westland and Rhineland-Westphalia will present their innovations and bestsellers.
