Helix Australia will launch its exciting new Boronia variety called “Magenta Stars” at the Perth protea conference. Bred by Kings Park Botanic Garden, Boronia “Magenta Stars” features magenta colour, star shaped blooms and is suitable for both cut flower and nursery/landscape application.

Helix director Adrian Parsons says, “…We expect to have 6 to 10 Boronia varieties available for release over the next 3 years featuring both star shaped and bell-shaped blooms…”

Parsons continued, “The Boronias will be branded as the Star series and also the Bell series and will inject some much needed enthusiasm and interest into the Boronia space which has not witnessed any new releases for many years…”
