Large German nursery files for bankruptcy

A German trade magazine, Taspo, reported that BKN Strobel has filed for bankruptcy. The nursery is considered to be the biggest in Schleswig-Holstein. One of the main reasons for this bankruptcy are the two major DIY stores in Germany, namely Praktiker and Max Bahr.

It has been a family business for more than 80 years and has proven its expertise in the production and sales of container plants and roses. Besides that, they also offered polished presentation and integral selling concepts together with their container plants and roses.
