Conviron establishes division in Australia
Conviron announced the formation of a direct sales and service team for the Australia and South-East Asia market. Though Conviron has been present in this region for many years working with local distributors, the shift in strategy to a direct support structure will improve the delivery of client support while simplifying the way the company interacts with this important market.
The Conviron brand has steadily grown since its first Australian installation. Since 1974, hundreds of controlled environments have been installed at prestigious corporate, university and research institutions in Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, New Zealand and Australia. Key installations include Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and the Australian National University (ANU), in Canberra, Australia that house over 150 Conviron chambers.
“It is an exciting time to be part of this growing market,” said Steve Kroft, Conviron’s CEO. “The number of world-renowned institutions in Australia and South-East Asia is remarkable. Mobilizing a direct sales and service team reflects our commitment to this region and the upcoming opportunities facing our existing and future clients.”
