The International Floriculture Trade Fair is being built up almost around the clock. International exhibitors & visitors are arriving at Schiphol airport, as well as flowers and related products while being cleared from customs. The newest flower varieties are being unpacked and prepared for designing, so they can be shown in their full glory next week. Companies located around Expo Haarlemmermeer, where IFTF will be held, are preparing themselves for the traditional so called “Open Houses”. World’s biggest and most important floriculture trade fairs are about to take off and bring together the international trade of cut flowers and potted plants. Wednesday November 4 will be the lift off.
Over 1.000 national and international exhibitors related to floriculture and horticulture are ready to receive over 25.000 trade visitors flying and driving in from over 125 countries. Product competitions, design presentations, nominations, Award giving, celebrations, parties, and various other social events are part of the extensive activities that will accompany the trade fairs in Aalsmeer and Vijfhuizen. There is nothing like it anywhere else in the world of fresh flowers and plants. Expectation levels on a successful outcome are set high and likely to be met with, after long waiting, recovering economies in an increasing number of countries around the world.
