US: Chrysanthemum still reigns as official flower Corvallis

Since 1967 the chrysanthemum has been the official flower of Corvallis, and after a recent City Council meeting the mum remains undefeated. Since the designation of the official flower is contained in a council policy, it must be reviewed. So city staff prepared a report, the Human Services Committee reviewed it, and the full council reaffirmed the policy Monday night.
