Eight flower companies exhibited at the Colombian Embassy in Tokyo, Japan, on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. During the event, jointly organized by ProColombia, the Ministry of Agriculture and Asocolflores, Japanese designer Zin Kato, recognized two weeks ago in Kuala Lumpur as Asia’s Most Influential Fashion Designer at Malaysia Fashion Week, came up with one-of-a-kind originals for runway models to showcase new Colombian flower varieties from Agrícola El Cactus, Agroindustrial Don Eusebio, Andalucía, Ayurá, Discovery Farms, Flores El Picacho, Luisiana Farms and Turflor flower farms. The Kato fashion show culminated in the customary Colombian Floriculture Reception put on each year for Japanese buyers and industry-specialized media.
