US (CA): CalFlowers adds two airlines to transportation partners

The California Association of Flower Growers & Shippers, or CalFlowers, has added American Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines to its growing list of transportation partners. These providers offer competitive shipping rates to CalFlowers members, allowing them to be competitive in national and global flower markets.

CalFlowers, whose mission is to get flowers from the field to consumers, provides members with a number of transportation services partners to maximize flower freshness and speed to wholesale and retail markets. Air Canada, Alaska Air Cargo, Delta Airlines Cargo, FedEx, OnTrac, Southwest Cargo and United Airlines Cargo also participate in the program, offering members a variety of shipping options in and outside of California.

As part of its marketing services, CalFlowers’ transportation partners along with growers, wholesalers and business services providers will participate in the CalFlowers pavilion at the World Floral Expo, Los Angeles Convention Center, March 9-11.
