A number of new varieties of cut and pot chrysanthemums for 2016 were shown for the first time. To emphasize the versatility of the Chrysanthemum, floristic artful arrangements were created. They were shown in the fields of Christmas, Halloween and Dinner Table.
The new series "Colombo" was presented. Colombo is available in four colors. The single-flowering variety with a fresh green center has a response time of 7 weeks.
Jürgen von den Driesch (sales manager) is very satisfied with the strong stems and the nice and uniform spray of Colombo.
The other new varieties, such as the pompon flowering "Madras Red" and the very elegant, semi-double varieties "Rangun" also meet the criteria of a modern, attractive and easy to be cultivated assortment. The fashionable trend of two colored varieties served the yellow " Fire". It is a sport of the successful variety Kyoto, which blooms purple white.
For the Pot Chrysanthemums it is very important to complete the successful variety Families Pemba and Luzon. With Pemba Canari and Luzon White Improved 5 and 6 equal growing colors are available in the two families. "This is very important because more and more producers want to have uniform growing varieties that are possible to cultivate in the same way. Even for mix pots you must have uniform growing varieties in different colors,” explains company owner Hubert Brandkamp, he supervised the big customer for pot chrysanthemums personally.
With "Tupai" Brandkamp showed a yellow, filled flowering variety with a response time of only 7 weeks.
Whether elegant on the dinner table, rather in Country Style for Halloween or festive red / white Christmas, the visitors learned how big the diversity of the Chrysanthemum is. Many suggestions and ideas for the modern floristry were able to take home.
