Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, visited the Botanical Garden in Bayan Palace on Monday, December 9. Gates was accompanied by the chief of the accompanying mission of honor, Advisor at Amiri Diwan Dr. Yousef Hamad Al-Ibrahim.
Gates is in Kuwait on an official visit at the invitation of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The meeting addressed similarities between the charity BMGF and the State of Kuwait, for both are seeking to offer humanitarian aid and relief efforts to the needy around the globe, regardless of geographical location, religion or ethnicity.
