IAA Fresh: looking back and looking forward

The end of the year means looking ahead and looking back, and that's what we're doing with IAA Fresh and IAA International as well. This year, they're celebrating the first birthday of IAA-Fresh sea and air freight, a milestone for the company. But there's more.

Piet Segers, director of IAA Fresh and IAA International, says: "We're looking back on a great 2015, with as a milestone the first birthday of IAA-Fresh sea freight and air freight. The enormous growth allowed us to welcome no less than 8 new colleagues." And the growth doesn't end: at the moment, the company is looking for a declarer to join our perishable import team.

Exciting 2016
Next year promises to be an exciting year as well. "We're looking forward to the Flower Parade of the Dutch Bollenstreek. Many of our clients are located there, and with our parade float, we want to show our appreciation to our loyal clients. We also hope our clients from abroad will get a chance to see this beautiful flower parade."

This years, the parade's theme is "Fashion and Flowers", and entrepreneurs are currently hard at work interpreting this theme. In the coming months, the exact look of the float will be announced. And in case a few cyclists are flashing by next year, there's a chance they're wearing the IAA-Fresh cycling kit. RTV-Bollenstreek has a team that will be sponsored by the company.

This EDD (European Dog Detection) is not to be missed. The dogs' role is to make the shipments "safe" for air freight.

To work
But it's not just time to party in 2016, there's work to be done as well. "For 2016, we already know we will realize a few large flower bulb and plant projects. This will be another great challenge for us," Segers continues. "In short, we have a great year to look back on, and we'd like to thank all our clients for their endless support, and we look ahead to what 2016 will bring full of confidence."
