Netherlands: River Flowers satisfied with IBIZA spray mums

The Ibiza spray mum was introduced to the market last spring. Peter v.d. Werken, owner of River Flowers, was the first grower to start with production of Ibiza and increased production over time because of the positive market response. River Flowers supplies the FloraHolland auction clocks on a regular basis with around 60,000 stems per week.

Ibiza is known for its quick and uniform growth and high stem weight. Another plus of Ibiza is the very good leaf quality year-round. Florists and consumers are very found of the lovely flower of Ibiza with its true white and strongly contrasting green center.
