Netherlands: Awards for best Decorum grower and dealer of the year
During the annual New Year's reception of producer organization Decorum Company, awards are traditionally handed out for the best grower and best dealer of the year, for plants and flowers. New this year is the category ‘Bloomer and grower of the year’. Voters could elect the company that stood out positively and potentially deserved a spot on the stage.

Best 2015 Decorum nurseryman
Ter Laak Orchids won the title ‘Best nurseryman of 2015’. According to the member, dealers Ter Laak deliver only the very best greenhouse product. The consistent quality is greatly appreciated. While Ter Laak only just missed out on the Horticulture Entrepreneur Prize, here the brothers and their team were ranked number 1 by customers. And that was much appreciated. J&P ten Have gained second place and in third place Van der Voort Potplanten featured in the top 3 for the first time.
Best 2015 Decorum plants dealer
Decorum members awarded Profit Plant the most votes. The exporter is seen as a 'loyal dealer' because of the always positive critical input and the constant focus on high quality. Decorum dealers OZ Planten and FleuraMetz achieved respectively second and third place.
Second prize went to J&P ten Have. Peet ten Have was also celebrated because of his longstanding commitment to Decorum.
Best 2015 Decorum flower grower
Borst Bloembollen won 'Best flower grower of 2015’. According to the affiliated flower dealers this is a grower with 'the right vision' and a wide range of top quality tulips. Second prize went to Jac. Oudijk, third prize to Kwekerij De Koningshof.
Best 2015 Decorum flower dealer
Decorum members gave Enigma Flowers the most votes, finding this company a loyal Decorum ambassador providing optimal collaboration. Decorum dealers Hamifleurs and FlowerForce bv respectively achieved second and third place in this category.
During Decorum Company’s New Year's reception with about 170 guests (affiliated growers, dealers and relations) chairman Eric Moor looked back on last year and ahead to the coming year. Peet ten Have was acknowledged because of his involvement over the years with the Decorum organization and as a board advisor.
