RosAroma: scented potrose with long flowering period

Rosa Danica A/S based in Marslev, Denmark, produces Kordana potroses in various pot sizes. Since the late 80s Rosa Danica has been working closely with rose breeder W. Kordes' Söhne on the development of new potroses. Besides of course a beautiful flower color and solid shape, the collaboration focuses on the development of healthy plants with good durability.

Good shelf life and smell unfortunately don’t go together yet. A strong smell usually means a short flowering period. Most people have the idea that a rose will have a fragrance and are often disappointed because most roses have no scent. Rosa Danica and Kordes have now developed a series of potroses which satisfy both the expectation of smell and a relatively long flowering period: RosAroma.

De RosAroma series consists of different potrose types/colors characterized by their strong aroma. The, for the time being, light shades are ideal for any interior. RosAroma potroses provide romance and fragrance in the house. They are also perfect for the balcony or in the garden. RosAroma scented roses like a light spot. In the garden they should be kept in a sheltered corner in winter. Rosa Danica is now working hard to expand the RosAroma series with new varieties/colors.

Based on the results of the past introductory year interest in the fragrant RosAroma is promising. The series is now again available through mid-September in a 10.5 cm pot size. During the next IPM in Essen RosAroma can be viewed at the Rosa Danica stand, Hall 5, A16. Exclusively available at Rosa Danica.
