US (CA): BloomCheck Certification program provides growers with sustainability certification
The BloomCheck program was created to provide California's flower farmers with a sustainability certification that better represented the standards and rigor involved with growing flowers in California and the United States.
Dramm & Echter, Resendiz Brothers and Sun Valley Floral Farms have all been awarded their BloomCheck Certifications through the third-party auditing process that is done by Protected Harvest.
Apart from being a certification, the BloomCheck program offers a workbook component to farms that want to work towards a certification or simply want to better understand best management practices for flower farming.
