UK: Latest ICL innovations include specialist sprayer water conditioner

ICL has launched three innovative products on to the ornamentals market including a specialist sprayer water conditioner, with built in pH colour indicator, and a high performance spray tank cleaning agent.

“The quality of the water used in spray solutions can have a significant impact on the performance of a pesticide or foliar nutrition programme,” explains ICL technical manager Andrew Wilson. “pHizer contains chemical water conditioners that dissolve the carbonates in the spray solution to reduce their ability to react with pesticides or foliar feeds. The water turns pink when it reaches the optimum pH level making pHixer especially useful for herbicide, fungicide or foliar feed treatments in hard water areas.”

Also new to the ICL range is SpOtless, a highly formulated cleaning agent for the thorough decontamination and cleaning of spraying equipment.

“Comprehensively tested, SpOtless completely decontaminates sprayers after use,” explains Andrew. “Compared to other cleaners it is especially effective for clearing sticky formulations, helping to maintain the overall efficiency of the equipment.”

The third addition is Ranger, a biocide cleaner for use on pathways, including concrete and block paving, for cleaning and removing severe algae, slimes and lichens.
