"US (SC): "More than a dozen varieties of flowering plants on sale"

The Loris High School Future Farmers of America [FFA] again offers its annual FFA plant sale that just began on Monday, March 21. More than a dozen varieties of flowering plants, in trays of 18 and 32 bedding plants, potted plants and hanging baskets are on sale along with vegetable plants that include beef steak and cherry tomatoes.

“This is the number one fundraiser for our very active FFA group,” said FFA advisor and LHS agriculture teacher Nate Bellamy. “These funds will again go to help cover our travel expenses to competitions that our teams compete in each year.”

Bellamy is extremely proud of all his students and the various FFA teams that have help make the Loris High School FFA chapter one of the best in the state. Bellamy is also proud of the new greenhouse and the work his classes did to make LHS standard for other FFA groups.
