DSV's presence growing in India

With the merger of UTi and DSV offices in Kolkata and Vadodara, the integration process on the Indian subcontinent has been well and truly kicked off, making DSV a significant player going forward.

A great combination
Before being acquired by DSV, UTi had a large and long-standing presence in India. This is the foundation for the new DSV organisation, which is now coming together across the Indian subcontinent.

UTi has been servicing the Indian market since 1992. DSV, on the other hand, is a relatively new entrant (established in India in 2006), but has already made a mark for itself, garnering a revenue of $60 M+ in 2015.

Together, the two companies now employ more than 900 staff producing a total turnover of $170+ million in 2015.

The new DSV India handles 53,000 tonnes of air freight and 68,000 TEU of ocean freight annually; and the contract logistics arm has no less than 700.000 sq. feet of warehousing space (or 65,000 sq. metres.) spread across India.
