In slowfood restaurant and cooking studio, Culinary Solutions in Poland, chef Lukasz Terlikowski collects the herbs out of his own wall. Recently, he installed several green systems from Mobilane. Terlikowski wanted a system where he could keep both herbs and vegetables fresh for a longer time. Participants in his cooking workshops were also interested in vertical gardening.
Quality and appearance
Terlikowski examined several green systems and chose LivePanel and LivePicture of Mobilane. The LivePanels are stacked and secured by an aluminium frame. While LivePicture is a living, breathing painting suspended on the wall which is easily removable. Both systems do not use electric power and can be compiled as desired from herbs, vegetables or ornamentals. The feeding of the plants with water and nutrients is ensured by an integrated irrigation and drainage system. The LivePanel is connected to the water supply network. The reservoir of the LivePicture should be refilled manually once every six weeks. Terlikowski: “Mainly the quality and the aesthetic ambiance convinced me to choose the products of Mobilane. I compared it with the culinary business, also there the quality and presentation guarantees returning customers.”
Dealership
Culinary Solutions is now also a showroom for LivePanel and LivePicture. Terlikowski has become a Mobilane-dealer. His company Nature4Life focuses on the Polish market. Its mission is to convince local companies and municipalities of the ecological benefits of vertical green systems. In the future he also sees potential in Lithuania, Estonia and Russia.
