GGIA has teamed up with UGA Extension to bring a new learning opportunity developed specifically for growers: the Academy of Crop Production.
In addition, they have moved the GGIA Roundup event, which normally takes place in the fall, to coincide with the academy. The reception celebrating the horticulture industry will be held at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia on Sunday, June 12th. This year's celebration will serve double duty as the opening reception for the Academy of Crop Production while still offering the chance to support the work of GGIA.
The Academy of Crop Production is a Southern-centric four-day conference dedicated to sharing information on advanced ornamental crop production and business management techniques for ornamental producers. Hosted by the University of Georgia and the Georgia Green Industry Association, at the Hotel Indigo. This is not a trade show, but rather a concentrated series of classes, open forums and social events that focus on important current issues facing growers.
