Kenya: Flower worker drowns while bathing in Lake Naivasha
The man, said to be a flower farm worker, slipped and fell into one of the tunnels around the lake.
According to a witness, Adam Kamau, the victim had joined his colleagues taking a bath on the shores of the lake when the incident occurred.
“Water levels in the lake have risen sharply covering some of this tunnels which are a very big threat to members of the public,” he said.
Close to 10 people have drowned in the lake so far this year.
