Shipping flowers in boxes made from flower residues

Flores Funza is one of the biggest companies in the Colombian floriculture industry. Since its foundation it has sought not only to maintain a constant improvement in its products and corporate relations but also in its commitment to the environment.

Along this line of thinking, during the last four years, the company has developed a project to reuse, recycle and re-incorporate plant residues. The pulp of the carnation and alstroemeria stems is transformed into a fiber that then is used as raw material for the boxes they use to send flowers across the world.
