Visitors of the Dutch Lily Days and online nominators from all over the world selected the 50 most popular lily varieties of 2016, with Tabledance as number one. Also for Robin van der Knaap this edition of the Dutch Lily Days became a special one. He nominated the highest ranked lily varieties and therefore won the traveler’s check of 1,000 euro.
The election of the 50 best lily varieties took place during the Dutch Lily Days, which was held for the 6th time. 14 prominent lily companies in Holland were open for visitors. Anyone interested could not only watch the trials of hundreds of different lilies, but could also nominate their personal top-10 lily varieties. Until the 14th June, everyone could select any lily variety that is known in the market. The Lily League, which was held for the first time by Onings Holland, has received many positive responses.

The top-50 will be presented on a colourful poster. Also the winner of the Lily League will be mentioned on the poster as ‘greatest world wide lily specialist of 2016’. Robin van der Knaap selected the 10 highest ranked varieties of the Lily League.
