Shortly after the summer the British Rosebourne chain of garden centres will be opening its first newly built branch in Andover. Rosebourne wants to enhance the existing garden-centre branch with a new concept: its ‘Fresh Approach’: a shop focusing 50% on food and the other 50% on green products and gifts.
This Fresh Approach will find expression in a farm shop and a butcher’s, but also in the restaurant, where a lot of attention will be paid to fresh produce, food will be prepared on the spot and guests will be able to enjoy table service. The setting is very attractive, in a separate part of the building with higher, arched ceilings.
This fairly new chain is managed by a team with an impressive track record in the garden-centre sector, e.g. at Blooms of Bressingham, Garden and Leisure and Beckworth Emporium.
The Rosebourne team asked Thermoflor to interpret the principle of “value for your money” together with HPW Architects. We professionally tackled the design and its implementation together. Even after working together with Thermoflor several times, the architects of HPW were again amazed by the speed at which our building team works.
