Jairo Cadavid to undertake new promotional challenges

Changes in Colombian floriculture

After 10 years of service as Director of Promotions and Communications at the Association of Colombian Flower Exporters, Asocolflores, Jairo Cadavid is moving on from the floriculture trade association to undertake new promotional challenges.



For a decade, Cadavid, promoter of the industry brand ‘Colombia, Land of Flowers’, was at the forefront of the Colombian flower-grower global agenda. He led 57 global trade missions, and carried out 14 international brand activations and launches, among which his most recent steps were the promotion for Japan’s Good Couple Day and carving commercial in-roads for Colombian flower growers into the Chinese market.
