Allensmore Nurseries received 2nd place at the recent HTA National Plant Show in the ‘Planting the Seed’ best retail display.
Their exhibit titled ‘My Sweet Garden’ was designed and created by Victoria Atkinson who heads the Added Value Department at Allensmore.
The next show they will be exhibiting at is the Four Oaks Show on the 6th and 7th September where they hope to have an equally impressive show stand.
Geum gets gold
Also at the HTA National Plant Show, Allensmore Nurseries won gold for their ‘Geum Scarlet Tempest’.
This plant has sweet little flowers of scarlet-red suffused with peachy-orange tones. These semi double flowers are 6.5 cm across and held on stems 30-45 cm high.
‘Geum Scarlet Tempest’ will be available to order from us in 2017.
