The Raker Trial Gardens (RTG) is currently taking place in Michigan, USA, from July 13 to August 26. Each year, the RTG displays over 100,000 individual plants in both comparison trials and landscape environments.
Also the varieties of Concept Plants were on display and Peter van Rijssen posted the following video on YouTube in which he presents two of their varieties; the Coreopsis Bloomstation Chameleon and the Coreopsis Bloomstation Dragon.
Last year, more than 2,000 people visited the Raker Trial Gardens. Predominantly from the Midwest, this collection of professionals is a representative cross-section of the horticulture industry; including, greenhouse owners, landscape designers and professionals, industry brokerages and sales representatives, trade writers, and most importantly, home gardeners.
For the last nine years, the Raker Trial Gardens have been a destination for the horticulture industry – and this year is no different. In addition to expanding every aspect of their comparison trials (row, hanging basket, and large container) they are continually expanding their trial services to include additional types of research and genetic evaluation.
