Vertical Designs has signed an agreement with Pomphrey Industries Corporation; a private hybrid energy applications firm based in Edmonton, Alberta, to supply industry leading Dual-Axis Solar Trackers in Western Canada. The installation of its solar systems and other alternative energy technologies will insulate the project from the rising cost of energy and will showcase Affinor Growers' patented Vertical Farming technology. These showcases will also assist Alberta and other regions around the world looking to diversify their economy and invest in agriculture.
Mitchell Pomphrey comments: "Other than ideologies, the main boundary conditions placed on our society are related to Climate, Health and Resource Scarcity. Vertical Farm technology that maximizes natural sunlight, self-waters, rejuvenates its own soil - enabled by sustainable energy resources - can address all those boundaries. Our strategic partnership will create a new definition for sustainable agriculture, both economically and energetically."
Amanda Weber comments: "This is truly a great move by both companies to begin showing the alignment of alternative energy and vertical farming technology, I believe the world will be amazed when they see how the Affinor Patents combined with alternative energy technologies will change the way we produce our food to be cleaner, safer, and produced 12 months of the year anywhere in the world."
