Netherlands: IFTF doubles exhibit space

IFTF officially received permission to double the size of its exhibition. The adjacent space, which was originally only covered with a roof of the same size and dimensions as the current hall of 10,000 m2, will be closed with hard glass side walls and become a permanent 20,000 m2 exhibit hall, double the size of what it was until now. IFTF will use 30% of this extended space already for the upcoming IFTF 2016. With this extension IFTF will be able to grow in the coming years and to accommodate the growing demand for exhibit space.

Pre registrations for attendance is up again compared to last year and this year’s edition of IFTF promises to show another growth in number of visitors. Adding the number of international flower growers exhibiting in the different country pavilions, the total number of exhibiting companies reaches already 250 at this moment. With the extended available stand spaces, this number could easily grow to 300, if needed. Together with the Open Houses organized by different floriculture companies, the Flora Holland Trade Fair at the auction in Aalsmeer, the total number of companies that will exhibit in the first week of November will easily surpass 1,000.
