On Thursday, September 29, 2016, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce announced the final ranking of the 100 selected innovations. All nominations were evaluated by a panel of innovation experts for their impact on industry and society, originality, availability, turnover and growth potential.
During the Day of Innovation the countdown from number 100 to 1 finalists were announced. Liquidseal can present itself as the most innovative business within the Agro & Food sector!
Liquidseal develops and delivers specific product recipes which extends the shelf life of perishable products such as roses, carnations, gerberas and lily bulbs. Since 2016 Liquidseal is also available for tropical fruit with a hard shell like avocado, citrus, mango and papaya. Liquidseal is a postharvest product and can be applied on the crop by spraying or dipping. When using Liquidseal, the shelf life is extended significantly and results in less product wastage. Also the product quality remains better throughout the entire supply chain.
