Viking Roses

"Passion makes a difference"

During last week’s IFTF, at the stand of Viking Roses, flower producers and flowers buyers enthusiastically held the first flowers of the Rosa Loves Me line: seven varieties that have been developed by the Danish rose breeder Rosa Eskelund by cross pollinating the longevity of the mini pot-rose with the beauty of the garden rose. Rosa is an artist who loves her babies. She breeds in solitude, overlooking the sea.

Peter and Andrew from mZurri farms Kenya, going through the Viking selections at Van der Hulst in Limburg, the Netherlands.

Dutch cut rose grower
Her soulmates are her husband Harley and lifelong Dutch friend John Pouw, equally passionate about roses, who takes care of further selection, testing and introduction. Viking Roses is the work of devoted individuals: Rosa, Harley, John, the Van der Hulst family (Dutch testing) and excited cut rose growers.

Rosa Loves Me Tender is one of the new cut roses with a nostalgic garden look selected by mZurri farms to go commercial.

Simple vases
At IFTF it repeatedly happened, that growers, wholesalers and even florists gathered around the simple vases with the flirtatious Rosa Loves Me flowers, planning sample boxes without discussing price.

The Rosa Loves Me cut roses are developed in the breeding greenhouses of Rosa Eskelund in Denmark.
