OZ Export's recent Flower Event, which took place from 2-4 November, called: Get in Touch with your inner Dutch had visitors walking through an indoor Flower Market. The theme of the event was ‘Holland’. There were more than forty market stalls filled with floral arrangements by selected growers, breeders and suppliers.
To top it off there was even a Dutch Cheese Shop with different kinds of cheeses. In the middle of the market was a coffee corner with Dutch cookies like stroopwafels. During the evening program typical Dutch food was served, like stew. The dessert was an old Dutch Ice cream cart.
Meet & Greet
On Thursday evening was the Meet & Greet with the growers. The entrance was decorated with orange flowers, an orange carpet was rolled out, and there was live music by a Dutch hurdy-gurdy. Two friendly OZ Export Misses welcomed people to the party and offered them a welcome drink.
Sarah Dikker
The flower arrangements were designed by Dutch top designer Sarah Dikker. Sarah is the winner of the first season of the television program ‘Dutch Best Floral Designer’. These days Sarah has her own daily flower TV show.
Selfies
During the event visitors could take a selfie in the Delft Orange tile. Pictures can be shared on Facebook, Instagram, VK and Twitter. #Delftorange #OZExport.
