The theme of the 35th edition of Plantarium is “Stories”. By choosing this theme, the board of the Stichting Vakbeurs voor de Boomkwekerij (Nursery Trade Fair Foundation) is emphasising the fact that stories are indispensable when it comes to marketing the product. The theme provides the participants and the fair with plenty of opportunities to tell the story behind the product. Plantarium will run from 23 to 26 August 2017.
Fair manager Jos van Lint is pleased with the board's choice. “For many years now, Plantarium has been the leading international trade fair for the nursery stock sector. It's the perfect place to tell the sector's story to an international trade audience. Standholders will therefore be challenged to demonstrate their story in an inspiring and innovative way”, says Van Lint.
Storytelling
From the moment they register, the participants can already start working on the theme. Standholders will have the opportunity to submit one or more video clips which tell their stories. From the beginning of 2017, the Plantarium website will show the submitted videos on a 24/7 channel.
Plantarium 3.0
2017 will see the launch of Plantarium 3.0. During Plantarium 2016, the board already announced a different structure for the 35th edition of the fair. A pilot could be admired in the Experience Centre and on the Europaplein. A new layout and new format ensure a completely new structure which retains the green character of the fair.
Registration
The 35th edition of Plantarium, an anniversary edition, runs from 23 to 26 August 2017 in the Plantarium building at the International Trade Centre Boskoop-Hazerswoude. Information and registration forms can be found at www.plantarium.nl. Registration will open from 1 December.
