In the Netherlands, Bloomon delivers the flowers themselves. To be able to expand quickly outside the Netherlands, Bloomon examined the possibility to ship bouquets in a box. The result of the collaboration between Bloomon and Olsthoorn is a luxurious 4-points glued box, that is supplied unfolded. At Bloomon the box is assembled. Inside the box there is a clip. Behind it, a special sponge is fixed that moistens the bouquet. A simple but effective process that ensures the quality of the flowers and limits the cost.
Three sizes
The box is carried out in natural-looking Kraft, printed with their own Bloomon brand identity. There are three sizes: small, medium and large. The middle size is the most popular, suitable for bouquets with a height of 85-95 centimeters (width: 25 cm). In the meantime, the next packaging is under development: a combo box, designed to include a vase as well. Also, kraft sheets have been produced, with which the bouquets are wrapped prior to packaging. This makes it possible to send bouquets throughout Europe without loss of quality.
