Kazakhstan: National floristry championship held at AstanaFloraExpo
The event gathers professionals from the flower industry and floristry, landscape architecture and design, specialists in garden construction and landscaping.
In the frameworks of the business program exhibition, on 12-13 April, after a year-break, the 4th National Kazakh Championship on Professional Floristics will be held, under the name "Altyn Gul" (i.e. "Golden Flower").
Organizers of the Championship are Kazakh Association of Florists, Exhibition Company “Astana-Expo KZ” and members of the Association: companies Nicole, GreenLight, Oasis Astana, Lady Fleur Astana and Astana-Begonia.
The Championship is supported by the National Guild of Florists of Russia.
Smithers-Oazis, Germany, Dekker Chrysanten and Deliflor Chrysanten, Holland, and Flowers magazine, Russia, are among its sponsors.
The jury of the forthcoming Championship will be headed by a famous Russian florist designer, member of the National Russian Guild of Florists Sergey Karpunin, who has been heading the Russian Floral Championships for 10 years already.
Roman Shtengauer, an eminent representative of the Russian school of floristry, a silver winner of the European Floral Championship in 2016, will also be among the jury members.
Nine young florists from different Kazakh cities will be competing for the championship.
