Concept Plants introduces Big Time Blue Lavender

Peter van Rijssen of Concept Plants only brings a plant to market if it’s bigger, better, and bolder than existing selections. Big Time Blue seems to meet the criteria.
  • Blooms earlier than other Lavandula angustifolia cultivars
  • Flowers are 2x-3x larger than Hidcotes
  • Deep purple-blue petals
  • Bright silvery-green foliage
  • Attracts butterflies and other pollinators
  • Drought-tolerant

Big Time Blue will be the featured plant at the Concept Plants booth, number 3231 at the Cultivate'19. Stop by to give it a look and a sniff and see for yourself why it’s fast becoming a favourite of gardeners, garden centers, and growers alike.

Denise Schreiber, author of Eat Your Roses: … Pansies, Lavender, and 49 Other Delicious Edible Flowers is whipping up a special batch of her Russian tea cakes with lavender flavoured by Big Time Blue flowers.
