NL: Flower bulb export company Mantel & Mosselman bankrupt

On Monday, June 27, 2017, The Court of North Holland, Alkmaar location, has declared the private companies Mantel & Mosselman Holland B.V., Mosselman Holland B.V. and Mantel Holland B.V., bankrupt. Located and having its principal place of business in Venhuizen (The Netherlands) at the address Markerwaardweg nr. 8. Appointed were Mr. A.J.J. Sweens as curator and Mr. J. Dijk as official receiver.

Merger Mosselman and Mantel
It's exactly one year since the companies Mosselman Holland bv and Mantel Holland bv merged. The purpose of the merger was mainly to increase the market for organic flower bulbs. Also, according to the directors, Ralph Koopman (Mosselman) and Natasja Mantel (Mantel) it would result in a stronger organization with higher efficiency.

The property of Mosselman in Enkhuizen was sold soon after the merger to Enza Zaden, and together the business was continued from the premises of Mantel Holland in Venhuizen, The Netherlands. Earlier this year, it was announced that Ralph Koopman would became General Director of producer organization Decorum with effect of March 1.
