SLIDE: A tailor-made track and trace system for greenhouse builders
Where is my container with aluminium?
The customer as well as the project manager on site gets the login details. SLIDE allows the project-manager to set priorities per container if needed. Which containers should come first? Have they been released & Customs cleared yet? Also, all relevant documents can easily be up- and downloaded in SLIDE. The first steps towards development of a SLIDE -App are in the works.
Martin van Dueren–Den Hollander is General Manager at Share Logistics: ”This system provides a wealth of convenience to the greenhouse-builders. All data is readily accessible to them. Most important: the system is truly interactive and bridges different time-zones. Time and money saved!”
Roland Steenbakker, Sales Manager at Share Logistics: ”With the introduction of 'SLIDE' we managed to further enhance communication and data exchange for our customers. This results in further optimization of final deliveries to the growers. If greenhouse-builders get complimented by satisfied growers at destination we consider our mission accomplished.”
