"NL: "Bulb growers are increasingly exporting themselves"

"Within our company we are currently very busy with the future. My sons might be interested in joining the company. And of course, we look at the developments around us. Scaling-up is a main topic. We would like to do this as well. In addition, I think that more and more bulb growers themselves are going to export. If I look at my sons, they are much better traders than the present generation in the company. At least we are discussing a lot and we do that with external guidance."

In de Spiegel (In the Mirror) is the column of Flower Science in which every week somebody from the flower sector looks in the mirror. In ten short questions, this person looks at present, his/her past and the sector in the future. Talking is RenĂ© Hulsebosch of the Company J.G.J. Hulsebosch in de Zilk and Vogelenzang (In Dutch).
