The Salon du Vegetal judging committee − made up of leading researchers, growers, suppliers and journalists − included Asperello T34 Biocontrol as well as Biobest’s Sphaerophoria-System (for improving aphid control) in the shortlist of seven products in the production innovations category.
With over 600 exhibitors, Salon du Végétal - covering ornamental production, distribution, landscaping and floristry - relocated this year from Angers to the impressive Convention Centre in Nantes.
A registered plant protection product, growers must ensure Asperello T34 Biocontrol is registered in their country before use.
In the United States, Asperello T34 Biocontrol is registered for the use in greenhouse ornamentals against Fusarium, Pythium, Phytophthora and Rhizoctonia. In France, it is registered for the entire ornamental sector (under protection) against Fusarium and for Pythium control in tomato, cucumbers, sweet peppers and eggplants; in Belgium, for annual ornamentals against Fusarium and against Pythium in those vegetables. In the Netherlands, the product is officially registered only against Fusarium in carnations and against Pythium in key vegetables.
