Kenya: 198 kWp of solar electricity for Penta Flowers

The two solar systems that will supply Kenyan flower farm Penta Flowers with 198 kWp are being installed at the moment. The project costs 260,000 euro and in April 2017 this sum of money was raised, within just 6 days, through ecoligo's crowdinvesting platform.

A 132 kWp rooftop system and a 66 kWp ground-mounted system will together save 184 tonnes of CO2 emissions a year. Sustainable Power Systems Ltd., an installation company working in cooperation with Ariya Leasing and ecoligo, began the installation of the solar systems in July and are due to be completed in August, as planned. It is the first project on ecoligo's crowd investing platform and they are very pleased with the progress.
