Research on Chinese solar greenhouse at University of Manitoba

Not only the Dutch Wageningen University has a Chinese solar greenhouse on campus. Also Professor Zhang of Biosystems Engineering at the University of Manitoba has one. The professor offered editor Mary Lowther of the Lake Cowichigan Gazette to tour the life-sized experimental greenhouse upon which he is still conducting research using alternative energy sources (e.g., biomass and solar) for supplemental heating and LED lighting, on campus.

In a recent article in the Lake Cowichigan Gazette, Mary Lowther shares her experience with her visit to the Chinese greenhouse in Manitoba! Click here to read it.
