Pot rose Kordana is booming in Russia
In April of 2017, in one of the greenhouse complexes owned by OOO “Group of Companies Gorkunov” in cooperation with European partners, modern hi-tech facilities were commissioned for the production of this pot rose.
The complex (1.6 ha) was built with the participation of Hortilife, a Dutch company. Initial planting stock was provided by German breeding company W. Kordes, the brand owner. Technological support is provided by Rosa Danica, Denmark, a producer of pot roses.
State-of-the-art heating, supplementary lighting, shading, fogging and watering systems made it possible to harvest within the same year.
The production capacity of the complex is 35,000 pot plants a week.
The Russian producer targets a large group of customers with the production program, colors and price levels.
After visiting the complex, Torben Mot Madsen said: “This international project must enter into a long-term mutually advantageous cooperation. The Russian market is rather promising for the Kordana rose, and we are glad that this beautiful flower will bring joy to the Russian customers”.
Russian producers of the Kordana rose will present it at “FlowersExpo”, Stand G 252, Hall 3, 12-14 September, 2017.
